Business Insurance’s Women to Watch Awards and Leadership Conference celebrates leading women from every facet of the commercial insurance industry including risk management, underwriting, claims, legal and related disciplines. To perpetuate the spirit of this event, which is held annually in December, Business Insurance is creating local Women to Watch “Regions” around the country to provide educational and networking opportunities throughout the year. Nominations are open through August 14.

The GOOD (Guys Overcoming Obstacles to Diversity) Guys in Law program was designed by the National Conference of Women’s Bar Associations to break the impasse in the advancement of women and diverse professionals by engaging the people in power who have been missing from the conversation for too long. The program, which was developed in collaboration with the National Diversity Council based on research into the best ways to engage men, honors GOOD Guys for their efforts to eliminate bias and provides information on how diversity at the top helps to make businesses more successful.
