INDUSTRY OUTLOOK: The insurance industry, as with many industries, is being molded by pandemics, consolidations and a shift to data and technology. The world is changing and with it comes new opportunity for growth and evolution in this market.
GOALS FOR NEW POSITION: To continue enabling the unprecedented growth trajectory of PCF and convert agency data into information to drive the actions that will maximize earn-out and the value of stock for our agency partners.
CHALLENGES FACING THE INDUSTRY: Because PCF is partnering with new agencies at a rapid speed, the accounting team was facing the challenge of keeping up with the demand. PCF has recently reorganized its accounting department by region, to manage the workload of the accounting team.
FIRST EXPERIENCE IN THE INDUSTRY JOB MARKET: Im new to the industry.
ADVICE: Be you. As with most industries, you must learn the intricacies and nuances, but after you have climbed that hill, get back to what has made you successful.
OUTSIDE THE INDUSTRY, A DREAM JOB: I am still a little kid at heart and dream of flying. Id love to be a pilot.
COLLEGE MAJOR: Accounting
LOOKING FORWARD TO: I approach every new role the same, focusing on my team. I look forward to enabling and supporting them, improving processes, identifying efficiency and guiding them toward excellence. My goal is to create a partner/customer-centric organization.
FAVOURITE MEAL: BBQ with good friends
BOOK: Most recent is The Boys in the Boat. I love most historical fiction/nonfiction.
HOBBIES: Hiking, woodworking and supporting kids in their various activities.
TV SHOW: I dont watch a lot of TV. However, when I do, it is typically a historical documentary, or light comedy.
ON A SATURDAY AFTERNOON: I love to go for a good hike and/or spend time working to beautify the yard.
