Another ransomware group attacks Costa Rica

Costa Rica has again become the target of a ransomware gang, as the Hive ransomware group breached the country’s public health service, forcing it to shut down all the systems on May 31, The Register reported. The attack comes after the Conti ransomware group’s breach of Costa Rican IT systems in April. The Hive group has demanded $5 million in Bitcoin to unlock the infected systems.
