Chubb promotes O’Brien, Robic

Chubb Ltd. on Thursday named Fran O ‘Brien deputy chief risk officer and promoted Ana Robic to succeed her as division president of its personal lines business in North America.

In her new position, which is effective Jan. 1, Ms. O ‘Brien will support Chubb ‘s enterprise risk activities and strategy, a company statement said. She will report to Sean Ringstead, executive vice president, chief digital officer and chief risk officer.

Prior to Ace Ltd. ‘s acquisition of Chubb in 2016, Ms. O ‘Brien was chief risk officer of Chubb.

Ms. Robic joined Chubb in Toronto in 1999. She was named chief operating officer for North America personal risk services in 2017. In her new role, she will report to John Lupica, vice chairman of Chubb Group and president, North America insurance.

Ms. Robic was named one of the 2016 Business Insurance Women to Watch.
