A group of 14 Democratic governors are calling on Congress to preserve more generous Affordable Care Act plan subsidies set to expire at the end of the year to prevent what the group calls a “disastrous erosion” in health care coverage, Healthcare Dive reports. The governors of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Washington and the U.S. Virgin Islands signed the letter.
