Energy crisis could affect operations of Swedish companies this winter

Jan-Olof Olsson, manager of supply preparedness at the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency, said that the energy crunch is likely to trigger power cuts in Sweden this winter, putting businesses at risk of shutting down operations, Xinhua reported citing Swedish Television. The ongoing energy crisis along with an unplanned shutdown of one of the nuclear power plants in the country and supply challenges due to insufficient grid capacity could affect power supply in Sweden, affecting businesses, households and even hospitals.
