A deadly explosion at the five-star Hotel Saratoga in Old Havana, Cuba, caused by gas leak on May 6 left at least 31 people dead and injured more than 50 people while damaging several nearby buildings including the historic Marti Theater, Business Standard reported citing The Associated Press. The Hotel Saratoga was preparing to reopen after being closed for two years. The explosion damaged the nearby historic Marti Theater and the Calvary Baptist Church.
