Pakistan-based firms Amreli Steels Ltd. and Bolan Castings Ltd. have halted production after devastating floods caused disruptions in demand for its products, Business Recorder reported. Amreli has shut down its plants for 20 days owing to low demand of steel rebar due to flash floods while Bolan will shut its production for 13 days due to drop in demand for tractors castings.
