Heavy rains cause floods and mudslides in Chile, Argentina

Heavy rains led to floods and mudslides in Chile’s Los Rios Region and Rio Negro Province in Argentina on June 7, damaging properties and roads and prompting evacuations, Floodlist reported. The torrential rains triggered a mudslide that slammed into a hotel building in the popular tourist destination of San Carlos de Bariloche in Argentina, killing one person and injuring some others.
