Jaguar Land Rover to halt production in September due to chip shortage

U.K.-based carmaker Jaguar Land Rover Automotive PLC is planning to suspend production this week until the end of September due to the shortage of semiconductor chips and supply chain issues, Daily Mail reported. The automaker, which has factories in Halewood and Solihull in the U.K., will send thousands of employees on a leave until the production resumes.
