Analysts at U.S.-based A.M. Best Co. Inc. said that inflation and the Russia-Ukraine war could significantly affect the Lloyd’s of London insurance and reinsurance market, Reinsurance News reported. While the Ukraine war and resulting political and economic consequences could particularly affect specialty underwriters, the high general inflation could potentially impact all insurance and reinsurance lines, especially those with longer claims tails or those more exposed to global supply chain disruptions.
