Mounting credit insurance claims threaten insurers’ solvency

Data from Indonesia’s Financial Services Authority said that credit insurance claims reached a staggering 5.7 trillion ($374 million) as of July 31, reflecting an 80% annual increase, Asia Insurance Review reported citing Antara. The huge surge in credit insurance claims has led to concerns around the risk to insurers and the threat to their solvency.
