Crude oil spilling from state-run oil firm Petroleos de Venezuela SA’s joint venture Petrowarao SA has hit an environmentally sensitive area at Venezuela’s eastern region, KFGO reports citing Reuters. The leak came from an oil well at Platform G located at the Pedernales shallow-water field and caused a long black stain at the shore and in the Orinoco River’s waters, near fishing towns in the Orinoco Delta.
