Pharmacy benefits manager ProdigyRx, founded in 2020, announced Tuesday the launch of its business operations.
Based in Austin, Texas, ProdigyRx offers PBM services and clinical solutions for workers compensation insurers, third-party administrators, and self-insured/administered employers, according to the company.
Services include medication therapy management, drug utilization review, compound and specialty drug utilization controls, pharmacogenomic drug oversight and an opioid minimization program.
ProdigyRx is co-founded by Del Doherty, a PharmD with a second doctorate in pharmacoeconomics with master’s degrees in public health and business, and president Matthew Imes, co-founder of health care company Adva-Net.
