A ransomware attack on Taiwanese electronics contract manufacturing firm Foxconn Technology Co. Ltd.’s factory in Mexico’s Tijuana city on May 31 led to production disruptions, TechCrunch reported. Ransomware group LockBit has taken the responsibility for the attack and is threatening to leak Foxconn’s data if the company fails to pay a ransom by June 11.
