Thousands of pubs across the U.K are on the cusp of shutting down in the wake of surging energy costs, The Guardian reported. The British Beer and Pub Association is seeking government support to reduce the impact of skyrocketing energy rates on the hospitality sector, which is still trying to recover from the impacts of COVID-19.
