ZURICH (Reuters)—Swiss insurer Zurich Financial Services said Dieter Wemmer, its chief financial officer and regional chairman of Europe, would leave the company by the end of the year to pursue his career elsewhere.
To ensure a smooth transition, Mr. Wemmer will continue to serve in both his roles until the announcement of a successor, the company said on Tuesday.
Mr. Wemmer, a German and Swiss citizen born in 1957, joined Zurich in 1986. He became chief financial officer in 2007 and regional chairman of Europe in 2010.
